How Do I Contact the Three Credit Bureaus?

Chances are you don't have the major credit bureaus on your speed dial. Still, today's "credit rules" often require that you contact one — and sometimes all three — of them for various reasons, including:
1. Disputing information on your credit report
2. Getting help with fraud assistance
3. Getting a copy of your credit report
The good news is that getting in touch with each bureau has never been easier. And you can contact the credit bureaus in one of three different ways:
- Through the Internet
- By telephone (toll-free)
- By mail
No matter how you choose to contact them, each credit bureau is legally required to respond to your question or problem within 30 days if you're disputing information on your credit report.
